Peter as a Father by Elizabeth

As a child, I remember dad working hard, long hard hours - and it seemed like he did it all - so we could live a better life. Seasons passes to Fantasy Island, road trips to great places we had only ever heard of - New York City and Washington DC. and even Florida. And of course trips to Parry Sound, my favourite. It was always so much fun to have Christmas in Parry Sound at "home". Midnight mass and big breakfasts. No wonder dad like to do everything big.........it was in his blood! He's not the only Schnurr that loves to go a little overboard when it comes to the holidays and food!

He instilled in me a love for family, holidays and tradition.

He taught me to set goals and reach for the stars.

He always told me that anything was possible - if I BELIEVED in myself.

He gave me the confidence to go out into the world and be a great person.

He taught me how to conduct myself in business - and I was always confident in my abilities to fit in.

He loved to reminise - and to laugh.

He was an adventurer - and encouraged others to follow their dreams.

He ALWAYS saw the best in people - and helped many people see it in themselves.
